Look after your body
Physical well-being.
Your body is part of your working life. Give comfort, preparation, and recovery a place in every production plan.
Build a workable set
Check that surfaces are stable, walkways are clear, and the room has comfortable temperature and ventilation. Make sure everyone can reach water, bathrooms, and a place to rest.
Plan around your capacity
Talk through the physical demands of the proposed work. Adjust the schedule and setup around your access needs, comfort, and energy rather than assuming you can push through.
Make breaks part of the schedule
Agree on regular opportunities to stop and check in. Anyone should be able to ask for a pause or a change without pressure to finish a take.
Take concerns seriously
Stop when something hurts or feels wrong. This guide cannot assess an injury; seek a qualified health professional for symptoms, recovery advice, or questions about returning to work.
