Make space for the conversation

Sexual health.

Health conversations should be clear, respectful, and free from assumptions. Make time for them before a collaboration.

01

Discuss expectations in advance

Talk about each person’s health boundaries and the precautions they want to use. Agree on what happens if someone’s circumstances change before the shoot.

02

Get advice for your circumstances

A qualified sexual health clinician can help you discuss testing, prevention options, vaccination, and care based on your activities and health history. This site does not prescribe a testing schedule.

03

Respect health information

Agree on what information will be shared, with whom, and how it will be kept private. Avoid circulating someone’s records or making assumptions about their health based on appearance or identity.

04

Have a plan when things change

Make postponing or changing a shoot a practical option. If you have a health concern or a possible exposure, contact a qualified clinician promptly for individual guidance.
