Good work starts before the camera
Safer production.
Bring preparation, communication, and care into the whole production process—from the first message to the final check-in.
Before the shoot
Confirm the scope, boundaries, compensation, participants, and distribution agreement. Share the location and schedule with everyone involved and identify who is responsible for set coordination.
On arrival
Walk through the space together. Locate exits, bathrooms, supplies, and private changing areas. Review cleaning arrangements, breaks, and the agreed way to pause or stop.
During production
Check in between takes and whenever the plan changes. Keep agreed supplies accessible and respect requests for rest or adjustments. Stop production to address concerns.
After the shoot
Make space for a private check-in and confirm next steps for payment and delivery. Record any concerns securely, agree on follow-up, and use what you learn to improve the next production.
